About the Mission:
The family of U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Edward V. Sabuda has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr Sabuda passed on 5 March 2026, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Sabuda was a proud Marine, serving his nation for 3 years on active duty from 21 October 1952, to 20 October 1955, with a 12 month tour of duty in Korea as an Aviations Mechanics Mate. He was honorably discharged at El Toro, Santa Ana, California. Corporal Edward V. Sabuda was awarded; Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and a Republic of Korea Service Medal.
Mr. Sabuda was past Commander of American Legion Post #1477, and retired Lackawanna Fire Fighter.

Members will stand flag line for arriving family and guests for Mass of Christian Burial. After Mass, PGR will escort Mr. Sabuda and his family to Holy Cross Cemetery for a military honors interment. Dress for the weather and bring water, as none will be provided.
