About the Mission:
The family of Vietnam War Veteran Ervin E. Easton, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Easton passed on 5 March 2026 surrounded by his family.
Mr. Easton entered the U.S. Army on 27 February 1970, and was trained as an Auto Repairman Parts Specialist (MOS-76S20), serving his nation for 3 years on active duty, including 12 month tour of duty in Vietnam. Mr. Easton was honorably discharged on 7 March 1973 at Fort Riley, Kansas, with reserve obligatons terminating on 26 February 1976. For his service, he was awarded; Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 1960 Device and 2 Overseas Bars.
After his military service, Mr. Easton was a Corections Officer for New York State Corrections retiring after 23 years of dedicated service.

Due to issues, Mr Easton will be honored on March 9th insted of May 1st .Those who are riding your bike please make sure your flags are clean and securly attached. KSU at 12:15 for escort to WNYNC for 1pm honors. Please park at the old parking area before Shelter 1. Do not park at Shelter 1.
