About the Mission:

The family of Vietnam War Veteran Ervin E. Easton, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Easton passed on 20 February 2026 surrounded by his family.

Mr. Easton entered the Army on 27 February 1970 . After his Basic Training, he was trained as a Auto Repairman Parts Specialist. He was sent to Vietnam on 7 December 1970, serving his nation with 3 years on  active duty, including a 12 month tour of duty in Vietnam. His last duty station was with the 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas. Mr. Easton was honorably discharged on 7 March 1973, with reserve obligation terminated on 26 February 1976. For his service, he was awarded; Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/ 1 Bronze Service Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 1960 Device and 2 Overseas Service Bars.

After his service Mr. Easton worked as a NYS Corrections Officer, retiring after 23 years of dedicated service.

Special Information:

After briefing, members will stand a flag line for arriving guests and family from 1pm to 4pm. Military honors will be conducted on the1st of May. Thank you for supporting Mr. Easton and his loving family
