About the Mission:

The family of U.S. Army Veteran Mark W. Bruning has invited Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Bruning passed on 5 March 2026 at the age of 61, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Bruning entered the Army on 4 January 1984, and was trained as a Motor Transport Operator ( MOS-64C10).  He served his nation for 2 years and 10 months on active duty, with 1 year and 7 months with the 47th Engineer Company at Fort Wainwright, Fairbanks, Alaska. Mr. Bruning was honorably discharged on 13 January 1986 at Fort Lewis, Washington.

He was a member of Scio, Ohio American Legion Post # 482

Special Information:

Members will stage at parking lot before Shelter 1. After briefing, PGR will stand a respectful flag line for Mr. Bruning and his loving family .After dignified transfer, military honors will be conducted. Make sure your flags are presentable and thank you for your support.
