About the Mission:

The family of U.S. Army Veteran Michael E. Garmone has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Garmone passed on 14 March 2026 at the age of 92.

Mr. Garmone entered the Army on 29 March 1955, serving his nation trained as Armorer Crewman, for 24 months on active duty, including a 15 month tour of duty in Korea. Mr. Garmone was attached to The 17th Infantry Regiment, Transportation Company (The Buffalos). He was honorably discharged as SP-3 (T) at Fort Dix, NJ, on 22 March 1957, receiving the Army Good Conduct Medal.

Special Information:

Members will stand a respectful flag line for arriving family and guests. After dignified transfer, a Mass of Christian Burial will begin. After Mass, military honors will be conducted. This is a church only mission, no cemetery or escort. Make sure your flags are presentable and thank you for standing for Mr. Garmone and his loving family.
