About the Mission:

The family of Assistant Chief of Police John F. Schaller has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his funeral services. Mr. Schaller passed 14 March 2026 surrounded by his family.

After graduating from Bishop Fallon High school in Buffalo, NY, Mr. Schaller attended Loyola University of Chicago, Illinois. He returned to Western New York and served his community as a police officer with the Cheectowaga Police Department, retiring after 32 years as Assistant Chief of Police. He received the Cheektowaga Police Distinguished Good Conduct Award.
