About the Mission:

The family of Joseph J. Salerno has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his funeral services. Joseph, 87, of Colonie passed away peacefully at his home on February 20, 2026.

Joe proudly served in the US Navy in 1957, serving four years on active duty during the Cold War Era. He was the former owner of Empyre Pools, but most recently worked for Metro Ford where he was a salesman.

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line during the last hour of Visitation, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. After the funeral service, members will escort to St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Sand Creek Rd., Colonie.
