About the Mission:

The family of Ronald Tamoschat has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Ronald, 88, passed on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Born in the Bronx, NY, Ronald was a graduate of Fordham Preparatory School and Fordham University School of Business. He entered active duty in the United States Army on October 26, 1961 and trained as a Disbursing Specialist (MOS 732.10). He served for two years, including an assignment at Headquarters Detachment, U.S. Army Support Center, Niagara Falls, NY. He was honorably discharged on October 25, 1963 at the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-5), and completed his inactive reserve duty obligation on October 25, 1967. For his service, was awarded a U.S. Army Good Conduct Medal, Marksman Badge (Carbine) and Sharpshooter Badge - Rifle (M1).

After his military service, Ronald graduated from G.E.’s Financial Management Training program and spent his entire 33 year career at G.E., retiring as the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis Operation at G.E.’s Silicone Productions Division in Waterford, NY. He was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the Collegiate School of Business Honor Society, Mohawk Post 1450 American Legion, a charter member of the Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard, Sportsman’s Club of Clifton Park and the G.E. Elfun Society.

Staging at the church with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests. There will be an 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial, followed by escort to and a 1:30 pm interment with military honors at Saratoga National Cemetery.
