About the Mission:

This veteran served this country honorably from October 1989 to April; 1992. His MOS was Medical Specialist, attached to the 28th Medical Hospital. He served in Operation Desert Storm and other overseas deployments. He attained the rank of Specialist, being awarded; the Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal (SASM) with 2 Bronze Service Stars, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal – Saudi Arabia (KLM‑SA), Army Service Ribbon (ASR), Army Lapel Button, Parachutist Badge, Driver and Mechanic Badge (Driver’s Badge) and M‑16 Expert Qualification Badge.

After his service he joined the MTA becoming a Level 2 Subway Supervisor, and was 4 years from retirement. The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him for his service.

Special Information:

The driveway to Calverton may still be a little narrow from the snow, so members will meet RC Mike at Chapel "A" parking lot. RC Mike will direct members there. Perry Funeral Home of Lynbrook will be bringing the Honoree for service, ETA expected 12 noon.
