About the Mission:

Patriot Flight Honor Flight organizers have once again requested the participation of Patriot Guard Riders in the escort, sendoff, and welcome home for veterans traveling to Washington DC as part of the Honor Flight Network. As we have done in the past with Patriot Flight, PGR riders will escort the veterans from the staging point shown below to Albany International Airport, where the sendoff will take place. We have also been asked to welcome our honored veterans back home that evening. Please see details in Stage Two of this mission posting below.

The escort is open to any and all individual motorcyclist and motorcycle clubs and organizations; however, due to ongoing construction in the terminal access areas, parking is somewhat limited. Please see the important details in the staging instructions below.

Special Information:

Staging in the rear parking lot of the Times Union. Anticipated KSU is 05:15 am.

NOTE: Motorcycle parking at the airport is somewhat restricted, and will be confined to the TSA Loading Dock area just beyond the Baggage Claim entrance at the airport. Please watch your email for any updates. For those going directly to the airport, please use the Short Term Parking and form a flag line at the entrance to the Baggage Claim area at the far end of the terminal.  There will be a short welcome ceremony in the Baggage Claim area prior to the veterans proceeding upstairs through TSA checkpoint.

Second Stage - Special Information:

Estimated arrival time of Breeze Airlines charter flight is 10:00 pm. Members will form a flag line near the TSA checkpoint if space permits, or in the terminal area on the first floor leading to the exit. There will be no escort back to the Times Union parking area.
